Experian’s Business Strategies Division in Norway, formerly known as SEGMENTA AS, is a consultancy and market analysis company specialising in market positioning, segmentation and target groups. The company was established in 1992 and in 2004 was fully integrated within Experian.

Experian in Norway has gained its market position through adapting the Mosaic methodology to the branding process, and cooperating with a wide range of companies such as consultancy agencies, advertising agencies, media agencies and market analysis agencies.

The key focus on market positioning strategies and target groups results in the supply of two main service ranges:

• Choosing the right target groups: includes customer analysis, market analysis, choice of target groups and target groups description

• Using the target groups correctly: includes product communication strategy, campaign management, DM/TM activities, CRM, market surveillance, location analysis and sales management.
