A joined-up approach to research in the South East
Co-financed by the South East of England Development Agency (SEEDA) and the European Social Fund, the SEE-iN Data Hub provides access to 135 key indicators from over 30 different sources, covering a variety of themes and South East geographies. The Data Hub provides simple-to-use analysis tools, offering the ability to interrogate, chart, map and tabulate data and to download it as either an Excel file or a pdf report.
Experian led the development of the tool, supported by software developer Active Solutions. We applied our knowledge of official statistical sources and expertise in data gathering and analysis to maximise the coverage and quality of the data and intelligence contained within the site. The SEE-iN Data Hub was launched at an event in July, to a wide audience of local and regional stakeholders.
This new resource ensures all partners and other stakeholders in the South East are able to access regional and local data and intelligence to inform strategies, policy, bids, appraisals, equality impact assessments and monitoring and evaluation work. The site also allows users to upload their own data, enabling stakeholders across the region to fully exploit and contribute towards the regional evidence base.
The SEE-iN Data Hub acts as a centralised point of access to data and intelligence in the South East, facilitating evidence-based policy formation, informed decision making and more effective targeting of investment.
