Every year, The Future Foundation organises a one-day State of the Nation conference. This year’s theme is Tramlines and Trampolines and will look at the trajectory of the trends shaping the UK as a society and as a market.
Some of the trends fixing the medium-term future seem to be riding on predictable lines - showing a steady but occasionally meandering pattern of evolution. Others feel volatile, hard to read - as if they were bouncing and bobbing uncontrollably down the future-corridor.
The full day conference will look at trends affecting:
• Incomes and Prices • Families and Networks • Ambitions and Inhibitions • Politics and Philosophy • Fun and Frolics • Regulation and Revolt • Contexts and Comparisons
The aim of the conference is to help you anticipate and plan coherent strategies within this changing consumer environment.
Visit www.futurefoundation.net/events.php to see an outline of the programme, or if you wish to book your place contact Josie Watson or book online. Receive a 10 per cent discount if you book and pay via our secure online payments page or make a group booking of three or more.
