Latest news from Experian's Business Strategies division November 2007
I’m proud to announce that Experian picked up a number of awards at the recent Data Strategy Awards, seeing off all our main competitors in data. Business Strategies division won two awards for our work with Tower Hamlets Primary Care Trust to reduce the number of unnecessary visits to accident and emergency departments in the borough. The project, which applied data analysis and segmentation to a critical business issue, was so highly regarded by the judges that we won the overall Grand Prix award.
We have recently launched Demographics Online, providing marketers with a simple web-based tool with which to profile customers, analyse local markets, produce simple reports and generate maps. It draws on Experian's vast and unique data resources, including Mosaic. Our latest forecasts for the UK regions highlight the potential impact of the current credit crunch on the housing market, while consumer insight from the Future Foundation identifies the trend for staying in to socialise, rather than hitting the town for a night out. Finally, our new Asia Cities Service evaluates the current and future investment potential of 16 Asian cities, allowing investors and strategic decision makers to assess new opportunities and benchmark strategy in this fast developing region.
Best regards

Charles Burton Global Managing Director, Experian Business Strategies
