Latest news from Experian Business Strategies June 2007
The Future Foundation's Changing Lives conference on July 3 promises to be an interesting day, offering the latest in consumer trends analysis from a UK and pan-European perspective. For the UK, the focus will be on leisure and entertainment, while for Europe, we will be looking at meeting the needs of tomorrow's shoppers. Our latest economic analysis for the UK looks at the two-tier economy in the UK - the north/south divide that just won't go away, albeit with some strong performances from cities such as Cardiff, Edinburgh, Leeds and Nottingham. We have two case studies this month: a look at how Mosaic Origins has helped Tower Hamlets Primary Care Trust to tackle the problem of inappropriate accident and emergency visits, ensuring a better service for local people and cost savings for the Trust, and details of how we have helped Carrefour Belgium to realise its expansion strategy. Finally, in Hong Kong, Mosaic has been used to analyse property and personal finance related behaviour amongst Hong Kong consumers, and by Octopus, a major micro-payment and rewards programme platform.
Best regards
